We are officially 10 weeks away from my favorite 6.2 mile race of the year, The Philly 10k!
And with the 10k on the horizon, that means we’ve got some pretty sweet training runs coming up as well. Partnering with Be Well Philly, The Philly 10k schedules four group runs between now and race day perfectly designed to fit into any runner’s training plan.
All group runs begin at 6:00pm at Philadelphia Runner at 16th and Sansom Streets and welcome runners of all abilities and paces.
Monday, June 20, marked the first 2 mile pop-up group training run in which about 70 runners met at Center City’s Philadelphia Runner store. We ran over the Schuylkill River and through Penn’s campus ending at Shake Shack in University City.
